Under the inspiring presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ekta Nagar witnessed a grand National Unity Day celebration marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event featured a spectacular Unity Parade by CAPFs and state police forces, vibrant cultural performances, aerial displays, and tributes to the heroes of Operation Sindoor, showcasing India's unity, courage, and national pride.

Ekta Nagar celebrated the grand Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31 October. The celebrations featured a spectacular Unity Parade with 16 marching contingents, CAPFs, State Police, NCC and marching bands. Special attractions included the NSG Hell March, BSF–CRPF bikers’ daredevil show, Indian martial arts and the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran flypast.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2023 was celebrated with grand patriotic fervour at Ekta Nagar in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and witnessed a spectacular Unity Parade showcasing CAPFs, State Police, women bikers, NCC, school bands and the Indian Air Force. The celebration highlighted the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and India’s unity, strength and national pride.

Ekta Nagar witnessed a solemn yet inspiring Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2022 celebration, marking the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Sardar Patel and witnessed a Unity Parade featuring BSF, State Police forces and decorated sports personnel. The occasion reaffirmed the collective resolve to strengthen India’s unity and integrity.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2021 was celebrated at Kevadia in the presence of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah as the Chief Guest. He paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity and participated in the national unity celebrations. The event featured a parade and demonstrations by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), showcasing their discipline, courage and operational skills.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi participated in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations at Kevadia, Gujarat, on 31 October 2020 and paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity. He administered the Ekta Pledge and witnessed the Ekta Diwas Parade featuring CAPFs and Gujarat Police, along with a CRPF women’s rifle drill and Indian Air Force fly-past. The celebrations highlighted national unity, security, AatmaNirbhar Bharat and India’s commitment to protecting its sovereignty and integrity.

Kevadia witnessed a grand celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2019 as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi administered the Unity Pledge and reviewed the parade of police contingents. The NSG, CISF, NDRF, CRPF, Gujarat Police and Jammu & Kashmir Police presented impressive demonstrations of their capabilities.The programme also featured a ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ drill and demonstrations of modern policing technologies.
